Have a 1943 P nickel ( most likely a Wartime nickel ) with what looks like it has an extra mint marker on the reverse right next to the word MONTICELLO. It's very light and you can be seen slightly without magnification. Can this coin be some kind of error? Or is it just dirty and have machine damages to it?

to CCF.

I see what your talking about, it appears to be light pitting on the surface of the coin, not an error just some minor damage. But keep it still it 35% silver.

War Nickels range from 1942 (Type 2) to 1945.

Not an error.
Just some sort of mark that has formed over the years
from whatever that is giving the illusion of a letter.

I see, okay thank you very much for the much needed info.... Now I have just one other question? How can you tell a War Nickel to that of a copper nickel? Is there anyway of knowing the differences? How can you test them ?

War Nickels have the mint mark over the dome. See the photo I posted earlier.

@BL, your coin may have a small lamination on the rev to the right of Monticello. I think that this may be pretty common on these War Nickels.

Could be a couple of things, but there's saying what and science fact... Anyway you look at it the next person is waiting to shoot their"opinions"off many with assumption rapid-fire. Could be a variety with a dropped mintmark or overstrike.
