I had this banknote stolen from me when it was mailed from Indonesia by registered mail with tracking.

The Indonesia post plastic package was intact and sealed. When I opened it the paper envelope inside was open and sure enough only the cardboard was left inside.

The banknote was missing.

If anyone sees it for sale please contact your local police and me. It is PMG Graded Number 6004096-011.

So, the outermost package was complete with its original seal and no signs of tampering? Is there a possibility that the note was never in the package?

What does the seller say?

The seller swears that it was in the package. He has 100% feedback with 102 points.

It was tracked so I signed for it and ebay shows as delivered. I have opened a return item case with ebay. This was all I could do.

Photos attached (personal info blacked out)
The cut on the plastic is when I opened it.

If the EMS package was not tampered with then the only suspect is the person that placed the package inside the EMS shipping envelope and sealed it up.

Sounds like the seller has a dirty employee in his shipping department.

Sounds as if it was never shipped. Regardless, the vendor bears all responsibility for packing, mailing, and signature delivery. Press for an immediate refund in full. Begin with ebay. Don't return packaging just yet, then comes Paypal and USPS. Check your claim timing for all to be sure you don't miss a window.

102 Positive feedbacks means there only one person is involved, the vendor.

Thank You Everyone for your advice.

I want to give an update on this item. The vendor offered to replace the note with 2 other PMG graded Indonesian notes with me paying for shipping $22. I refused stating that I could not trust that these notes would not get stolen as well.

Besides I don't collect Indonesian notes only World Errors.

He now has refunded the entire amount.

I honestly believe that the note was stolen. I am sure that there is a box of plastic EMS envelopes at the post office and it would easy enough to switch the paperwork and inside envelope into a new one.

That being said I cannot take the loss through no fault of my own.

Again, if anyone sees this note for sale please PM me or post details.
