newyork, are referring to the partial column directly off the left of the column you have circled?

If you are asking about what you have circled then that is part of the design. It is meant to represent the column in Back of the front columns of the memorial.

That's why I was asking Mark1959. I was kind of thinking that is what he was asking about. newyork, there are four columns on the memorial that have that design element.

Looks like it got mixed up with a different coin picture in the process. I don't see that on his picture.

I have no idea what you are talking about, E&V. The picture you posted appears nowhere else in this topic and OP never edited their posts.

I believe OP is referencing the design of the coin in that four columns appear doubled to show three-dimensional depth. It's specifically outlined in the first post.
