This die was repolished multiple times abd visibility of the doubled lettering will vary considerably" "All reverse inscriptions are doubled with about equal visibility in UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and QUARTER DOLLAR' Approximately one-fifth of 1942 proof quarters examined are from this die, indicating the reverse die #150 might be the source.
