From this picture it looks normal. If there is something you see that seems abnormal, state it along with a close up shot of the MM.

Not to sure what your question is about . Are you talking about the placement of the MM or wondering why there is a P for a MM .?

The P mintmark on 2017 Shield cents is intentional. That was done for the 225th anniversary of the establishment of the Philadelphia Mint in 1792. These are not "added mintmark errors" worth thousands, these were made by the billions and worth only one cent.
Not trying to sound condescending, but just speaking the truth.

That's normal for that year. The U.S. Mint decided to add a Philadelphia mint mark for that year only. It was done for the 225th anniversary.
Errers and Varietys.

Bate ,are you saying that you didn't know ( with 1,026 posts) that 2017 was the only year that the Philly mint put a P mint mark on Lincoln Cents .It was discontinued in 2018 .

Quote: Ok no problem , you probably reside on the west coast seeing mainly D mint circulation strike Lincolns . I'm guessing the same thing , I'm in the Midwest so I get a "mix" of P and D Lincolns, mostly P though. So I am quite familiar with the P mintmark added on to the 2017 cents.
