Previously in a PCGS slab, felt it was undergraded. Guess the grade NGC gave.

The surfaces don't look good in these images. I'll guess MS63.

It was graded PCGS AU55. I cracked and submitted to NGC and it got ms details obverse scratch. No scratches besides a tiny thin one that is only seen under certain lighting on the righht bottom base of the bust. Disappointing!

Glad I'm not the only one with recent bad experiences with NGC. Their grading opinions have been in the gutter since the start of 2018 from what I've seen.

I guess the takeaway to all 70/70 collectors is don't crack them out. You'll likely take the high hard one if you ever resubmit.

Sign of the times, I guess.

You aren't alone at all. Everyone's been tight this year but they're the one where it seems that most submissions have at least one head scratcher of a randomly detailed coin.
