You can only choose one Ike dollar. Such as, the year, mint mark, and the planchet it was struck on.

My favorite Ike dollar is:
1973 P - Business strike Mintage: 1,769,258.

(This one used to be mine but sold it on ebay. I didn't feel like digging up my collect to find one of my 73's)

Sorry I have two:
As a kid I used to actually dream I had found a 1975 - many times over. So when Daniel Carr made a 1975 overstrike - it was like being able to hold a childhood dream in my hands.
I have the halves and quarters he made also.

Next:

I remember when I was a kid that I read in the paper about the new silver dollar coin they were going to make. The picture in the article showed an artists concept of a 1970 Ike dollar. So when I got the 1975, I also had to have the 1970.

If I had to choose between them ... it would likely be the silver one since its...well...silver!

Very nice close-up shots, chuckster. That 71-S looks very lustrous too, which is not typical of the issue.

Thanks!

I've been meaning to send this one in for grading.

I think it's a strong candidate for MS66 and possibly(fingers and toes crossed etc LOL) a MS67?

Wow a 1975 Ike dollar.

1978 is a great year @ Jbuck. I plan on getting a 1978 P Ike dollar in the future.
