Seems to have just started fairly recently...perhaps the past few days or even a week. Not receiving PM's. Had a member in thread say he's sent PM's and ask if I had it turned on, has always been turned on for two years. Have asked two separate members to PM me to test, all have failed numerous times, my Email works OK. There has been mention to me of other weird access problems where one member has acces while another has lost the ability to connect to the running post. Here is what I have done:
1)Cycled the select feature YES to NO, loaded to server...
2) Signed out, then back in to CCF (twice now)
3) Turned on Email feature and requested another email test.
4) Tried sending PM's to member, but they don't get them, but the "send copy to self" works as does the notification feature for topic subscriptions.
5) have checked Spam folder, and any blocked IP addresses/sites had inadvertently been blocked or restricted.
6) Have cleaned out browser history and cookies once again.
All these things don't change the problem...that is pointing to a server issue it seems, any comments or suggestions?

Well boss, all the above people have not received My PM's or been able to reach me with theirs. What gives?

What jbuck was trying to say is that the underlying code that supports this site, and the messaging system, is working fine. There are no user-specific code subroutines here... (but hey, not a bad idea...)

Like USSID18, I thought he misunderstood that only Crazyb0 wasn't getting PM's. Not to mention I find your response a little insensitive and harsh! |

So, I understand that Crazyb0 not receiving PMs very well may be an issue on his end -- email provider in some way. Conversely, since PMs originate here, one coming from him to another member who has no problems receiving them, should receive it. Right? Have you attempted to PM me, Crazyb0? I have not noticed a problem receiving them from other members, so it may help figure something out.  Quote:
