Someone tell me if this is an illusion or if I finally found a Close AM 1992 penny. I was born in 1992 and yesterday happened to be my birthday. What a coincidence.

to the CCF! Jefferson is on the Nickel not the cent. It looks like the Wide AM. Pics are blurry with the light possibly playing tricks. If you would take a closeup of the AM and the FG initials at the bottom right of the memorial base.

These are all normal. The Wide AM is normal for 1992. You want to look for the Close AM for 1992. It's a Abraham Lincoln Cent, not a Jefferson nickel. http://www.lincolncentresource.com/...closeAM.html

Your not an idiot. You don't have to feel bad, as I have called coins the wrong thing on low sleep. You must have had fun at that birthday I bet! There's no apology needed.

All are WAM. If you look at photos of a CLAM,not only is the AM close but the ME is wider than normal. By the way, happy birthday.

Here they two reverses are side by side:

The RDV-006 is normal (which both of your coins are)
The RDV-007 is the one to watch for on the 1992s. (image on the left on my images)
