What's the best way to remove green (corrosion?) from copper coins?
Rest in Peace

Specifically what type of "green" corrosion, verdigris or bronze disease? Gooey or powdery? Smooth surface or rough and pitted?

Pix may be helpful.

Normally just try some Acetone. Also, simply distilled water. Other than that, you chances are not to good.

Don't waste your money on Verdi-care. I bought some with zero results years ago.

I respect that we may have different results with Verdi Care. I've used it many times with very good results. Bad Thad is a CCF member and has been great about participating as the Verdi Care process goes on.

with the positive comments about Verdi care.

Also, depends on what type of "green" it is. Pics will help.
