My son got this for change at a fast food place. It appears to be him...but not sure where minted, etc. Any advice is appreciated! Thx

You coin appears to be a King Charles II Threepence. Probably issued at the Tower Mint, London between 1660-1669.

This appears to be closer to the OP coin. These are undated, but were struck between 1636 and 1642, just before the English Civil War.

@ CalzoneManiac - Please check the reverse of the posted coin. It is different to the Charles I coin on Numista. I still believe the coin is a Charles II threepence.

The coin shown is a modern reproduction (see the manufacturer's stamp in the obverse field, below the III) of a Charles II threepence of the hammered coinage issue 1660-1662. Spink 3325.
