Possible Pre Euro Coins (Id: "euros In Trial" Tokens)

mrv Valued Member United Kingdom 256 Posts	Posted 10/13/2018 10:42 am Hi I brought the following set of coins for a couple of pounds, it was with a bunch of other coins. The set has euro denominations but no indication of who minted then. It says Euro en prueba. Can anyone tell me what they are and what they are worth? Thanks Report this Post to the Staff

Quote: Its true name is EUROS IN TRIAL, as it appears on the obverse of the eight different currencies put into circulation in Churriana, a neighborhood of the capital of Malaga, from September 30 to October 3, 1998. There are mintage figures near the bottom of the page. The page seems to hype the potential numismatic value of them, but I'd take that with a grain of salt.
