Have a guess at what the TPG said. Thought this one looked nice for the grade. White spot on the obverse is just some dust in the photo.

vf35/30. obverse looks like it has had an old cleaning

It appears VF+ and possibly bagged for the obverse surfaces which are problematic.

obverse XF40, reverse VF35. overall appearance I think will keep this at XF40. on split grades I tend to lean towards the obverse for most types

Late to the thread. Great coin to post, in old ANACS. The obv photo makes it look like an old cleaning to my eyes, too
