I have some knowledge. They are very difficult to find. You are talking Denver mint coins, I assume?

mdh157 Thanks for the response. How rare are bonafide 1970d type H? DO you know how many are accounted for at this time? and can you help with a value?

1970-d type h are very rare in my opinion. There are no known numbers for how many were made but it seems apparent the production was much less than that of the 56-64 type b reverse coins.

As far as I know neither PCGS or NGC attributes the 69-72 type h coins yet. There is no official count of how many are known. There is also no official price. They are rare but not well known so supply doesn't exceed demand. The Wide AM pennies, on the other hand, are much more sought after even though they are also proof reverse coins.

Very nice stoneman. It still befuddles me that these aren't drawing good money. Popular series and very rare.

Thanks ! Mine was hiding in a partial roll of 70-D's that I picked up in a large lot of "junk" rolls from a dealer I had known for years. Got it all for face because he didn't want to deal with the boxes of "junk"
