1999 D Lincoln Memorial Cent / LMC . Alright Guys, Am I Looking At A Doubled Die Obverse / DDO Or No?

Jim0815 Pillar of the Community United States 5240 Posts	Posted 10/15/2018 3:00 pm I found this 1999 D LMC some time ago and thought I would look at it again. The date matches the WDDO-001 but that is where it gets a little difficult. The WDDO-001 shows slight notching at the bottom of the leg on the R, it also show a die gouge below the I on the word IN. I really cannot see the notch at the bottom of the leg in R and while there is a die gouge at the bottom of the I it is not in the same location as the WDDO-001. Maybe this is what tropicalbats was referring too in an earlier thread referencing a different die stage from the one pictured. Thoughts? Report this Post to the Staff

In some instances like this one, you see a thickening of the devices as on the bottoms of the date as well as other parts of the devices. Report this Post to the Staff
