Looks like die gouges from an ejection finger that touched the die. First time I've seen them in the vertical angle. Usually they are 50-60 degrees or

How are you ruling out post-strike damage coop?

Marks on the die makes the cracks/chips/breaks/scratches/gouges/clashes/die dots raise from the fields. This is what you see on this coin. The anomaly raised from the coin. If it had been damage, then it would have been pressed in the coin. This is definitely raised. But it would be nice to see the opposite side to see if the coin had been altered.

The only question I have is on Pic #4, where it looks from that angle, that the raised area is underneath the "W". Probably need a better angle shot from the side to tell. I think if the raised mark turned out to be underneath the "W", then we'd probably have a different ballgame. If not, then coops probably right.
