Can I gather some opinions on my recent coin find? Hopefully my pics are good enough for you to see what I am able to see... When I compared my coin to others online, including Heritage auctions, my coin definitely appears to have more significant doubling than what I have been able to find online. Thoughts? Worth sending in for grading?

Only one listed on Wexler's images:

It looks nothing like your coin. I still need to see some wider images. Too close hides if it is doubled, or if it is something else. We need to see at least 5 devices in a line on an image of your quarter. It seems the areas affected are in the direction of the rim. (Which usually denotes die wear. Variety vista show one listing, but no images. But Wexler matches that die with the same one he has images of. So we need to see some wider shots to see what is there to know what to think of it.

Actually somewhere in between. But let me look to see what 1965 DDR's looked like that year. 3-5 devices. (3 for large devices, 5 for smaller devices) On the quarter 5 devices would give us a better view. something like this:
Variety Vista DDR-002
http://www.varietyvista.com/09b%20W...5PDDR002.htm

Wexler lists two DDRs that year:

So take a look at these. (But I don't think they match though)

The 1965 and 1966 topics have been separated. Please remember to focus on one coin per topic.
