I'm sorry, but you don't have it unfortunately. It's a normal coin, since there's no size increase of the devices. The real Doubled Die Obverse would be very easy to see with the naked eye. http://www.varietyvista.com/01b%20L...9SDDO001.htm

The classic 1969-S Machine Doubling. This date is one of the biggest offenders for MD. Don't worry, it can't imitate the real DDO; that will jump out at you immediately.

No way!! Did you look closely at the 2nd picture of the date esp the 6? I know some letters dont look doubled but the other letters in the motto "IN D W" along with the date & S really had me hopeful!

Here is my 1969 S. Just a normal coin. I was like you when I started and I hate these guys who try to help me understand the DDO and DDR cause it was again my assumption. Now after look through more than 10000 pennies I learned. It is a hobby and we need to have an open mind to accept which is wrong or right. I hope you will get the real one one day

It is oh so easy to see why the Machine Doubling on these 1969-S coins can look like a doubled die. They are kinda cool in their own way, but not doubled dies.

1969-S Lincoln Memorial cent machine doubled (MD) date

You're very welcome! To add a little bit more information to this thread, I'll include a picture of the real 1969 S DDO. This is a very valuable, very rare, and a very sought after variety.
