I don't believe there is any way this could have happened, I believe someone mated the 2 coins together.

Silverwolf, you're 100 percent correct. This didn't happen at the U.S. Mint like you said. It's Post Strike Damage ( PSD). I think what happened here, is they dipped the 1935 LWC in acid, to make it the same size as a Mercury dime, and then somehow mated the reverse of a Mercury dime together. (Kinda reminds me of a Magicians coin.)

It can be used in a magic act. The trickster will say. See this coin. I can turn it into another coin. Turns the coin over and now it is a different denomination.

They still make cent/dime magician coins today. Well they made them back when wheat cents and Mercury dimes were circulating too.

The funny thing is you can get a couple of bucks for these, as long as you're brutality honest and sell it as a novelty item only.

problem is , the seller is selling this as a wrong plancet struck coin.. it needs to be reported..
