I'm just curious to see if anyone else is having a shipping problem with the US Mint. I've had an ongoing subscription for the America the Beautiful Quarters since it's inception but have run into a shipping debacle with this year's October release.

This shipment is the 4th of the year and try as I may, I've been unable to get this one. My subscription order "arrived" in an empty box. I filled out the return slip and sent it back asking for a replacement. Waited 2 weeks and never heard back so I wrote to the Mint and they said I would have to file for a refund which I did. Then I re-ordered it.

The 2nd box arrived but this time it was in a different, larger box, that was also empty. Went through the same thing and am now awaiting 2 refunds.

Ordered a third set which was shipped on October 11th. This went via Fedex from the Fulfillment Center in TN to Burbank, IL where it seems to have fallen between the cracks as it's still showing on their tracking site today.

Has anyone else run into this or a similar problem with mint shipments?

The tracking should have a weight shouldn't it? If it doesn't match up with a "normal" similar package to somebody else then somebody at the fulfillment center will be in trouble. You need to contact the USPS and get the weight shipped.

I got the ATB circulating quarters set from the Mint last week. No issues.

I've been ordering from the Mint for many years now, several times a year, and I've never had a shipment that wasn't exactly what I ordered. With hundreds of thousands of annual shipments, something is bound to get messed up once in a while, but twice on the same customer back-to-back? That seems unlikely.

and sorry for your issues.

I noticed on some shipments the boxes are just folded in. They don't tape the edges. I was shocked a couple times that they didn't fall out or get stolen. Maybe somebody at your PO has sticky fingers.
