Does anyone happen to recognize this silver coin with type tirol cross and eagle on the reverse. I know there are plenty varitys from COLMAR and Austria. But I can't find any match.

My French isn't the best but 5126 below looks promising, listed under "Ducs d'Austrie / Maximilien 1493-1519". Snippet is from the Christian Jürgen Thomsen Collection, Moyen-age Vol. 2, (1874), courtesy https://books.google.com.

Nice Find! I Was not able to find it in mcsearch at first. How did you find this lyrics? You just put the few letters you know in google?

Google can be very helpful in identifying coin legends but you have to consider how Google's algorithm works. You don't necessarily need the full legend but you need complete pieces, e.g. ILLVSTRIS ARCHIDVX. Understanding Latin and the format of medieval titulature is a plus. Adding additional operators such as "coin" or "munzen" can narrow results.

The answer to anything can be found on Google. Anything. All Google asks for in return is your soul.
