This could be a high grade coin if the images aren't hiding anything. It has a shot at gem but I'll guess MS64.

the scratch in field by the left wing might details it. also some scratches in face and neck.

This one was given 65. I think it's overgraded. The scratch on the reverse looks considerably worse in hand as well as the two on the face. The only redeeming factor is the toning which looks much nicer under lighting than I anticipated

Can't even imagine paying 65 money for this, but I don't have it in hand. Toned coins are tough to judge from pics.

I agree that this coin is over-graded. There are deep cuts on both sides (on the cheek too).

Does anyone know if you can tell when a coin was graded? Does the PCGS lookup tell you?

I'm sure they know. They should know who graded it.
