Me and my brother found this in his spare change. Any insight you guys can give? I'm an amateur with coins but I'd like to think I found something special!

Fun to find - but just a badly damaged coin. Hardy no cost in keeping it - but no collector value...

The best thing to do with coins that have no value because of damage/alteration/blackened is just to not even look at them. They are a waste of time. I figure, if I would not buy that coin, it goes back into circulation. Never even looking at it at all. I guess to me the expression: "Life is too short to drink bad wine." has special meaning to me, even with coins.
