tropicalbats Pillar of the Community United States 6116 Posts	Posted 10/31/2018 11:26 pm Well it's Halloween and here is the bright shiny coin I just pulled out of a roll of bright shiny 1966 B/U coins. Needless to say this was hard to miss. It's a major struck through that looks like it was then put in with a box of rocks and tossed around for a week. Would have been a real nice coin if not all wounded like that. Adam_E Pillar of the Community United States 4846 Posts	Posted 10/31/2018 11:37 pm I think this may be a low pressure strike instead of a grease strike, it looks like the highest points are the weakest areas. I believe the rims should be pretty well formed on a grease strike through as well. Report this Post to the Staff

So I looked up the characteristics, and this coin has a distinctly beveled edge, so just that alone would seem to put it in the low pressure strike column. A new one for me. Thanks for the help!
