A picture of the whole coin obverse and reverse would be great. I guess you could soak it in acetone but as unglycoins stated. why?

My question is why do you want to clean it? What reason makes you want to clean this?

It is a Wheat cent. Put it with your other wheat cents.

Something of note on your coin:
On the bottom SE area of the '6', shows that area of the digit is missing, is from a broken hub. While not a collectable as several dies had this issue that year, but knowing what it is will fill in the blanks of coin knowledge.

Why spend the time and money to clean a coin hardly worth over face at best?

@sdm, I agree that an acetone bath might improve the appearance of this cent, but with a numismatic value of 2x or 3x face value, your time might be better spent elsewhere, like CRHing.
