Thought I would share some coins from Hungary. The first is a 1756-KB Ducat. The other is a 1893 20 Korona. I don't think the 20 Korona is a re strike as I have been told the re strike dates were all in the 1900s. Not sure if that info is true or not so please chime in anyone has info on the re strikes.

@canefan, those are beautiful coins with tons of eye appeal and history to them.
And I think everyone loves seeing gold out here!

On the first coin, I have not seen many Maria Theresa coins with a full length depiction of this empress. That alone is remarkable. Then there is the madonna on the reverse, which is a historical image on Hungarian coins, dating at least back to the 15th century (but maybe an expert like EddieDiz will correct me).

Interesting that the pose of Franz Jozef on the second coin is almost the same as Maria Theresa on the first. And on the reverse, I spied that double barred cross which we have used out here to identify all kinds of coins with Hungary connections back to at least the 14th century (Wallachia, Poland, etc.)

I cannot comment on the restrike angle.
