Another fork in the road when researching Indian coins from the 1700 and 1800s... Is the coin from Jaipur or Kishangarth? The large Jhar (tree) is evident, but the obverse does not match my Krause pics.

I'm not finished looking into this yet, but I suggest Kishangarh at first glance.

In "South Asian Coins and Paper Money" by Cuhaj 2013 it does look quite similar to Kishangarh C #25, which is described as a crude copy of Jaipur C #47 (have not found a photo of Jaipur C #47). Kishangarh C #25 is described as a takka weighing 17.25-17.50 g, with an inscription "Muhammad Akbar II" ND 1806-1837
