Concur - counterfeit and move on without being taken for a fool.

That is a laughable fake. Probably sold at some souvenir shop in the 60s.

Yes, but he did it to himself, the winning bids were placed after the seller updated the listing to indicate that it was probably a replica. And to make matters worse he had the high bid but it was less than the reserve so he bid twice more to get over the reserve amount.
