Are either of these good birthday date serial numbers. I don't know the preferred format. Is one of these better than the other. Year first or last?

Top note would read - 03/63/1952 there is no 63rd of March

Obviously you can see the bottom isn't a birthday note either

I agree with Mark.

Typically a birthdate note is formatted like this,

I have also seen YYYY MM DD

You should able to read an entire 8 digit date on your serial number to be a date note.

Agreed as well. Birthday note definitions have been stretched to ridiculous ends.

Thanks. That is exactly what I needed to know.

I was watching a youtube guy and that confused me.

I recently started checking serial numbers and enjoy it. Haven't found anything good yet.

The best I've found is three unremarkable star notes and a tertiary that just missed being a binary by one digit.

Thanks again.
