The edges suggest filing down or removal of material, otherwise. That, in turn, reduced the diameter and weight. This is all human damage, sorry. Conder101 Bedrock of the Community United States 17884 Posts	Posted 11/02/2018 3:15 pm The edges of the rev seem to be rounded over and curved down toward the edge and fairly sharp and flat on the obverse and the bust of Lincoln has been flattened. This is characteristic of a blanking press. If you look at a type 1 blank you will see that same effect. This piece has been punched out of a normal cent. Report this Post to the Staff
