1974 D Roosevelt Dime Looks Like Damage

Was going to chuck this one but figured I'd post photos first just to make sure I wasn't missing something.

Since the rim was fully reeded before the hit, I assume this must be post strike damage. How it occurred may be impossible to tell or it may be some mint machinery thing. Anyway, here's a dime with a ding.

John1, Full coin shot on a red post it note with single halogen bulb and a Canon S95 camera set on P no flash and zoomed in two clicks. Close ups shot using an AmScope trinocular stereoscope with halogen bulb and in this case an iPhone SE photo through the lens at 30X. The coin was propped up on an airtight for the close up of the dent to get a more 3-D look at it than just a flat shot.
