I recently received this coin in change from a service station. I have tried to research the coin error and have thought it to be a partial collar.
However, would that still be the case if it's missing most feeding around entire coin?
Also are these sort after and of any value?

Thank you for reading my post and I am genuinely very grateful for any help given as I am new to coin collecting, still feel way out of my depth

Looks like a collar error to me, almost identical to one I have except that mine is possibly in a bit better condition.

Possible value $10-$20.
