The only thing I can think of, is that it is part of the normal design maybe?

Another coin does not have this E-n-V. That why make me wonder.?

Here's the first reasonable explanation. There's a possible chance of it being Split Plate Doubling. Do you see any exposed Zinc in those areas? If you do, then that's the issue.

Here's a second reasonable explanation, if it applies to your case. If the areas are reduced in size, then it would be Machine Doubling.

So there's two possibilities on what the doubling could be.

You maybe right E-n-V..but Not really convinced me...I will wait for other opinion

Bays are part of the field area. The columns on the die are sunk into the die below the fields. With a bit of die polishing, that edge could be affected reducing the die on that area. On the coin it would appear raised. So I check on the proof cent from that year wondering if they show this. They all show the floor was the normal flat area on the lower columns. So it is not part of the design. But some doubled die show that area raised. So I'm check to see what cobwebs I can clear out of my mind.
