What do you guys think? DDO? Red brown variety?

Which DDO do you think it is? I see no DDO and it is not a Red/Brown. The color is from environmental damage not toning.
Check Wexler http://doubleddie.com/ and coppercoins.com about the DDO.Check https://www.PCGS.com/Photograde/ about grading.

I agree there are no signs of doubling on the devices, it is a well circulated coin in a fairly low grade of G4 at best.

This coin has had a very rough life. What you're seeing is Post Strike Damage from circulation wear and Environmental Damage.

There is a a lot of circulation flatting. It makes it harder to tell for sure. The FS-103 looks close, but not sure that it is that die number?

PCGScoinfacts pages for 1936 plain:
Brown grades from MS-66 through VF-30 (Posted when I created this link)
Red Brown MS-66 through MS-63
Red MS-67 through MS-63
So it appears that the MS coins are considered Red Brown and Red. The brown coins can be considered MS- to other lower grades below.
