It could be a Dryer Coin. Can you post an image of the edge?

Here is the edge of this second coin, the first one was separating at the rim. On this one the edges are curled in towards the center covering the wording on the edges of the coin and it's the size of a dime.

@RH, with the smooth rolled over edge, this is most likely a so-called Dryer Coin. You can use the search box in the upper left hand part of your screen to find many other examples of this phenomenon on CCF.

Looks like a Dryer Coin - post minting damage ( PMD) not a mint error.
