1969-S Penny Looks Like The Is Upside Down

coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 11/11/2018 7:50 pm Check the reverse? If it is centered, then it is what we call a MAD coin. (Mis-Align-Die). If the devices fall over the edge, then they are collectable. If not, then they are spendable. What do I mean by my statement? Note the devices falling over the edge? There is also a simulation of how the hammer die was out of alignment. Note on the reverse. You will see a weakness if the devices fall over the edge of the coin. On this one the hammer and anvil dies were opposite. (So the hammer die was the reverse and the anvil die was the obverse, opposite the way it was years ago) Report this Post to the Staff
