hi everyone

this dime was a groundscore from a few nights ago. I finally got around to taking pix of it today.

fair amount of roadrash on the reverse, so I know I found this one on the ground somewhere recently. hard to believe someone left that on the ground. my gain.

i notice what looks like a small die chip against the mintmark. does it look like another die chip at the top of the mintmark or could it be a D/D? repunched? I'm not sure what I'm seeing there.. almost looks like a mintmark over a larger die chip. anyone want to weigh in on this?

I'm retired. because I spend most of my daytime at home, I go out at night for walking & biking. I also feed a few stray cats here & there. on my nightly route I swing through numerous parking lots and I find coins. since spring I've found over $325 in coins... cents, nickels, dimes & quarters, primarily. it's coin that ppl drop or throw down, I imagine. usually find a dollar or two in change each night. also find paper, about once a week/ten days. I bring it home & save it in a jar. when the jar fills it gets emptied into a larger jug. I just finished wrapping it all today. I'm converting all that coin into gold.

that's the short version of it, w/o pix.

A little road rash, but free silver is pretty special!

As for whether this is a RPM or not, it is a little hard to tell from your pic, but this link from variety vista should help:
