*** Edited by Staff to Add Year / Mintmark / Denomination to Title. Titles are Important! ***

I see the Die Chip (II-E-1) on the S, Lam Error (III-D-1), and Now my question is it looks off center if you look at the rim on the NE and SW parts of the coin. Would you consider that a (III-M-7)? I am using the Price Guide to Mint Errors for my labeling.

Interesting lam... I'm not familiar with the labeling system, but it is not off-center. It is very slightly misaligned on the obverse, but completely within tolerance.

You should include the date, mintmark, and the denomination in your titles.

Why Topic Titles are Important

The title of your topic is very important. Let's say you need help attributing an 1896 Morgan Dollar....

  • Horrendous: Help!

  • Bad: Need help with coin

  • Better: Need help with Morgan Dollar

  • Good: Need help with 1896 Morgan Dollar

  • Awesome: Need help with VAM on 1896 Morgan Dollar

This enables the members with expertise pertaining to your question to easily find and answer your question. The title of the topic also becomes the title of the topic's web page, which enables us to attract more collectors to the site. The more members we have, the more we learn.

Looks like a MAD on the obverse, and a delamination as well.

The anomoly at 1:00 on the rim, looks like the edge of the coin was damaged there?

Here is a picture of the rim. I thought it is PMD.

What do you mean my MAD?

The obverse die is showing a slight die miss alignment. At 6:00 the rim is thinner there. The obverse die (hammer die) is adjustable. Not a premium for this unless the devices fall over the rim.
