Looks like this die is ready for retirement. Spike head, die crack through Abe's lapel, two die cracks on reverse.

Those dies. (plural) Wonder it something broke off the machine and it tried to strike though it and broke both dies? How long are both cracks on the reverse? The obverse doesn't look like the die cracks connect?

Coop, the reverse cracks stop at the top of the columns in the memorial. The spike head crack stops behind Abe's ear and the bottom crack stops just above his bow tie.
