For collectors of large notes, the long-running Black Eagle series is well known for the multitude of unusual serial numbers that were set aside during twenty-odd years of production and multiple signature combinations. There must be thousands or low S/Ns, ladders, solids and god knows what else out there based on what I've seen! They are so common, in fact, that an almost-but-not-quite fancy example like this was purchased for no more than the price of an everyday type note.
