I don't know if I should try to have some of the old silver sent off for authentication or not. Nor do I know the best place and rates. I have about 10 of the Morgans and a few more Peace ones that are mostly in better condition. Any help is appreciated. I can upload close ups of any parts of the coin that you would need.

Try calibrating your white balance, the coin looks weird - or is that really it's color? Or is it your lighting? This is the color it should have:

I doubt it has been cleaned it was my Grandparents and I got it from Dad in about 1995. It has been sitting in the dark since then.

The coin looks like it is about ms62. It is weakly struck in the reverse wreath. Coin is worth about $40. The 1921-D is the only Morgan dollar minted at the Denver Mint. It is not worth authenticating based on the value, but it looks absolutely authentic.

You can post other coins in your collection and we can weigh in. Post each one in a separate thread.

Once again, I agree with panzaldi and NS - MS-62.

Same here - 62 seems about right.
