I came across the coin today in a roll. It is sandwiched in red, but it's not half red as you can see by the attached photos. Any Feedback is welcome. Thanks

Depending which direction the coins were cut, one side is usually more silver or red because of the cutting of the stock metal. Last image you posted: The direction of the cut is from the silver color to the red color when the blank was cut. Thus the silver color runs further down the edge of the coin.
Also keep in mind if you find a States quarter with all the edge silver from Denver or Philadelphia, that doesn't mean they are silver. HSN sold a lot of these gold and platinum plated. There were a few silver sets, but they were proof coins and are marked with an 'S' and mirror proof fields on the coin.
