It looks like it could be the remnants of a tag of some sort. Definitely not a coin.

@Sparky1974, first welcome to CCF. Second, My go-to website for identifying tokens is tokencatalog.com. That said, I didn't find yours in a quick search. Hopefully someone else will have better luck.

Looks like part of a crop pickers check.

Have to agree that it has the markings of a pickers/packers /shuckers token most were brass tag disks, some with a beaded or other decorated ring around the edge of disk. and hand stamped with a number on one side and some had a company mark or stamp on the other. The larger concerns, farms etc. had more commercially made ones.

A second choice could be a factory tool crib check, to check out tools from the tool crib for items that were too expensive for the workers to own, each would have the employees assigned number stamped on it. Mine was # 36 from the machine shop in high school.

A third possibility would be a mine/dangerous plant body check, employee would move the assigned numbered check from an out board to an in board to show who was in say a mine, or explosives plant, foundry/smelter in case of a disaster. most were the size of a quarter, I have blanks of that size and some that are the size of a silver dollar.
