When it comes to roll hunting, I have to set myself a few rules.
I roll hunt Jeffersons, BUT you could apply the rules to Lincolns as well.
I have a pulled from circulation set. When I run across a coin that isn't in my set, I keep it regardless of the condition.
If I pull a coin from circulation which is better than the one in my set I keep that new one and then do one of two things with the old one.
I either put it back in circulation or if it's an example which has enough value to be ebayed then I do that.
I also pick a specific date and keep all coins older than that. For Jefferson's I picked the year 1960. If it's a 1959 I keep it. If it's a 1960 I toss it. Ever so often I'll keep excellent examples of 1960 and 1961 Jeffersons, the reason being is that the first Whitman folder for Jeffersons ends in 1961. When I run across some old folders for a buck at the coin store I buy them.
Right now I have 8 empty folders and about 30 roles of pre 60 Jeffersons. Sooner or later I'll go through those roles and put partial sets together and then
ebay them. I won't make a ton of scratch, but I will make more than I've put into it.
When I roll hunt Lincolns I only keep pre 59 coins (and if I ever run across a
Wide AM coin I'll keep it too). You should be able to put together an AU/BU set of Memorials from circulation.
Anyway... To answer your question... Do they have any value? Numismaticly not a whole lot, to you possibly depending on what you currently have.
