It's hard to tell from the pictures, but I think it is probably as labelled, "G" (which stands for Good, generally considered the lowest "collectible" grade for most coins).

Low grade common date Liberty nickels (like this one) commonly sell for $1 each when bought in lots. To purchase one individually will likely cost $1.50-$2.

From the image I can't tell what year it is... I can make out that it's a 190X, has full rims, and looks to have a lot of detail on the reverse.

I can't supply a grade without better images, but you for sure have a coin which would grade G. My suspicion from what I can tell from the reverse is that this will grade VG, possibly F... F is a long shot though.

SO all that taken into account. The date doesn't affect the value that much as the only one that is considered scarce that was minted in the 20th century is the 1912-S (and of course the 1913). All other 20th century Liberty's value is based on grade, with most following the same valuation until you start getting into the EF range.

G = $.50 - $1.00
VG = $1.50 - $2.00
F = ~$2.50

ImTheCrew,

Better to pick up these type coins at your local coin shop. By the time you invest in shipping/handling/insurance you're at the $6 to $7 level. I always wondered why folks sell individual coins worth less than $4 on ebay. Unless shipping is free, you will always end up paying double the value of the coin.
