A few years ago, I bought a coin of 3 roubles 1874 from someone who didn't really knew what it was.
When I found out how much it was worth, I had the gold tested from a 3rd party, it s 24 carats gold like it should be, the weight and the dimensions are correct, also the dots on the edge are perfect.
I am currently trying to sell it, but I was told once that it could be a fake, especially because of the line on the left side of the double head eagle.
Can it be an error? I find that strange that a fake will be so good to the point of being the exact weight it should be and the exact metal...but still; could it be a fake?
