I see that CCN Trends and coinsandcanada.com both list the 1946 6/6 5 cents while Charlton does not. Is this really a 6 over 6 double punch (or repunch), a re-cut 6, or Die Deterioration?

I have a couple of different looking 6/6 examples. One shows doubling on the inside right of the loop and below the loop. The other only shows doubling on the inside right of the loop. My coins are VG/F condition. I have not seen any higher grade examples.

Opinions welcome.

Wasn't asking about my coins in particular - sorry no photos. Just asking for opinions on the 'variety'.

Here's the other side of the same coin. Note some doubling here as well.

I'm also not sure of which one your referring but here's one that I believe is only die
deterioration.
looks to be one with a hearing aid also.
May be the same as jello_g's coin by the look of it.

Cheers, Bill

Here are images of the two coins I have. The 1st shows recut inside the loop, the 2nd shows below the 6. The 2nd also has the hearing aid in ear.
