I found this while walking the dog. It was in the leaves on the side of the road. I didn't believe it was real even before I picked it up because how often do you find $100 on the side of the road. The paper is thin and there's a hole in the bill. There are Chinese symbols printed on both sides.

These are common "replicas" known to be sold as "prop money", "practice counting money", "novelty", etc. They go for around $6 per one hundred pieces with free shipping from China.

I would like to take it to the bank but I don't want it confisgated or worse reported to secret service.

Agreed 0% real, I've seen countless bits of paper resembling real notes with Chinese inscription on them to the left side of the note like this one.

I'll never understand why they don't also put "practice counting money" markings in the language native to the currency, just for cases like this.

We see them sold on ebay fairly often (and immediately get them removed) as "training bills" for bank teller school.

I took it to the bank and showed it to the manager. He said that in the US it's not legal to have practice money to count unless it's oversized or different than current money. His opinion is that bill is illegal, but he didn't go into great detail except to point out many features that indicate it's obviously a fake.
