Is this the penny worth 15K I'm fairly new to the whole coin scene . Advice ,criticism , any and every thoughts are welcome.

There are only a few known examples of the valuable version. The weight in grams and tenth of grams will tell if your coin is valuable.

Only if it's 95% copper . The mint stopped producing copper cents in 1982 . That was a transition year , some 82's were copper and some were copper plated zinc . The 1983 Lincoln Cents were all the plated zincs .

@Insurjent, first welcome to CCF. Second, that would be quite a find if it is real. I agree that having the weight would be quite telling. In the meanwhile, I'm a little concerned about the raised bump by the mintmark as it appears to be a plating blister. It is a little hard to tell for sure when I magnify and enhance your pics. Any chance of getting a nice close-up pic of this area? Thx.
