I just posted a 1980 penny I found and the very next coin had this interesting feature to offer. I'm assuming this will be called a Cud, but am looking for more opinions.
Thanks C.C.

@RH, definitely not a Cud, but interesting nonetheless. Is this a copper or a copper-plated zinc cent (you can tell by the weight)? If plated, then it might be a bubble in the copper plating, but that one is pretty near perfectly shaped and positioned.

2.51g, Zinc. I don't know what to make of it.
Thanks @RH.

Ok good to know. Can you depress it at all with a wooden toothpick?

Ok awesome. How about an after pic of that same area? Maybe @coop will add your images to his primer on plating bubbles.

If it became flat after you pressed on it with the toothpick, it's a plating bubble, unfortunately.
